Detour De France is a documentary that follows the 2005 Tour De France through the eyes of three Australians; John Trevorrow, Denis Donoghue and Bill Schwarzenberg. John is a journalist and ex Pro-Australian rider, Denis is a radio journalist and Bill is just there to have a good time.
Featuring interviews with cycling luminaries such as Lance Armstrong and Bernard Hinault, appearances by assorted celebrities including director Ron Howard, singer/songwriter Sheryl Crow and presidential candidate John Kerry, Detour de France provides a fascinating insight into a classic sporting event.
